Double Jumbo Eggs

We sat down with Bill and Nani for a quick interview –

Why do you do what you do?

“It started as a hobby but we couldn’t keep up with the demand. So we started the business and that allowed us to sell to big box stores and while keeping our locals happy too.”

How did you get into this profession?

“We were caring for small farm animals and started having a lot of roosters. They were all very happy and we had a bunch of eggs being produced. It all came together with daily hard work and the support from the locals.

Being farmers, Bill and Nani work directly with many locals, we asked they what’s the most unusual situation that ever happened to you on the job? “We had a local egg farmer come by for our “double jumbo eggs” because his were just too small.“

If you could share one tip with the readers what would it be?

“Ask where your food comes from and how they care for the animals or farm food. In the end, the food speaks for itself.“
